 Family Rhythm Playshop!
Local musician and teacher Sean Jesseau is facilitating 2 fun, free 1 hour hand drumming sessions on April 22nd for youth (ages 8 and up) and adults too! Pre-register, by calling 622-1841.
Come and experience how fun it is to make music in a group with some new friends using hand drums and hand percussion instruments!
Sean makes group drumming circles that are super fun and educational. You will learn the basics of how to hold and play African djembe drums, the main sounds, essential building block parts, how to put parts together into songs and performances, how to make your own drum circle and how to lead it with fun activities and body language! No experience required!
Suitable for all ages 8 and up.
An adult is required for all youth under 10. These are all activities you can take home to make music with right away and it is best experienced with
an adult parent or caregiver and a youth together!
